Overview
The Collaboration Technology Analyst is a full-time position on the IT Infrastructure team.
This position plays a key role in creating strategies for the planning, framework, documentation, and communication for the proper positioning of our Collaboration initiatives working with internal and external partners. It involves producing/presenting goals and status reports for the executive level team. Areas of focus include using collaboration and productivity processes in the Microsoft Office 365 framework—including, but not limited to, SharePoint, Teams, Planner, PowerBI, Forms, PowerAutomate, and PowerApps.
Scope:
Leverages Retail business process experience to work with business units to understand and document the workflows, work products, and collaboration patterns to implement improvements when possible
Maintains awareness of Microsoft Office 365 roadmap, assesses new Office 365 tools as they are released in Microsoft’s non-Government cloud
Supports integration of new tools into business processes and workflows; collaborates with information technology team members to implement once released into Microsoft’s Government cloud
Actively contributing and providing support to the troubleshooting of system issues with other departments if needed, to successful resolution
Ability to communicate effectively, both written and verbal for technical and non-technical staff
Qualifications:
B.S. in computer related field or equivalent experience/training
Demonstrated experience planning and implementing both informational and collaborative tools using the Microsoft Office 365 platform
Demonstrated experience in researching and developing business process engineering and reengineering and implementing those processes
Strong understanding of knowledge management best practices and methodologies
Basic understanding of Retail and Retail Business management processes
Ability to adhere to project management principles, methods, and practices including planning, scheduling, and reporting on on-going and completed tasks
Ability to use popular basic project management and task tracking tools and applications
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in both a virtual and physical open communication environment with both the Systems team and other departments
Knowledge of creative tools and software applications used to create visuals such as Microsoft Visio, Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator
