Overview
As a vibrant and growing off price retailer, Burlington invests significantly in Media and Marketing. We are looking to add a Digital Marketing Manager to our team.
This role will lead the digital marketing capabilities including digital ad tech integrations, cross-team collaboration, reporting, campaign management, ad setup, optimization, activation, and coordination of the creative assets which will enhance our regional media strategies. Reporting to the Digital Marketing, Senior Manager, the Digital Marketing Manager will be responsible for both long-term and day-to-day improvement of Burlington’s performance in the paid media channels.
This important role will help drive positive company results by implementing and optimizing media plans to continually increase the performance metrics of the campaigns.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and lead digital advertising capabilities, which include audience building, planning, media buying and negotiation, in-flight campaign management, targeting, frequency optimization, analytics, and improvement of performance over time.
Responsible for all aspects of the digital media plans and making sure they hit the company objectives which include but are not limited to:
Managing campaign goals and objectives
Implementation of media campaigns
Optimization and improvement of performance
Audience building within a DMP or similar platform
Media buying and negotiation
Development of media strategy
Researching and presenting on new advertising ideas
Experience to implement audience building, measurement and tracking functions that will help the company advance digital media initiatives. Control the media set up, pacing, targeting, placements, vendors, strategies, and media activities for success.
Leadership in developing media plans to align with company deadlines and goals. Develop strategies for each digital media channel and plan the activation of media. Cross team management from start to finish of the activation through to the performance reporting for all the paid media digital advertising campaigns. Ability to pivot between vendors and optimize campaigns based on the performance metrics.
Vendor management and negotiation of media buying strategies. Manage vendors for different channels to obtain the best media rates while optimizing the media plan based on highest performing channels.
Our ideal candidate will have:
A Bachelor's degree in Marketing or related field
5+ years of experience in driving measurable business results through paid media solutions to increase company growth.
Expertise and experience managing a team and reaching expectations
Experience creating audience segmentation and localized targeting
Billing and performance management skills
Self-motivated, collaborative, with the desire to learn
Ability to work independently; flexible and resilient
Thorough knowledge of Microsoft Office (specifically PowerPoint, Excel and Word)
Understanding of digital channels and their attribution in digital advertising
Understanding and prior history of building ad tech solutions and integrations
Cross-team collaboration and management to keep campaigns performing well
Prior knowledge using AdTech such as Identity, DMP, Measurement/Attribution and other solutions
