Burlington Director Facilities Capital Projects - Construction Management in Burlington, New Jersey

Overview

As the Director of Facilities – Capital Projects you will oversee the strategic planning, management and supervision of Burlington’s corporate capital projects. This role is responsible for construction management and working independently with architects, engineers, contractors, and Burlington stakeholders on small and large, complex corporate facilities projects.

Some of the key responsibilities include:

  • Work with Burlington stakeholders and project team to ensure project planning, expectations, resources, and support are in place and ready for project kick-off.

  • Attend and / or lead project meetings such as construction meetings, design meetings, budgetary review, and project oversight meetings as required. Ensure continuous and ongoing communication with senior management.

  • Critical oversight of project budgets ensuring they are on task and on budget on regular basis; tracking with MS Project.

  • Proactive oversight of project schedules and management of project contracts, ensuring proper support and resources are available for necessary phases in projects.

  • Oversight and management of consultants. (Interfaces with architects, client staff, property managers and vendors)

  • Management and quality review of construction documents.

  • Work closely with internal IT teams to capture technology requirements and coordinate IT project tasks.

  • Coordinate any project impact to associates with Corp Facilities, Site safety and DC Ops teams as required.

Our ideal candidate will have experience related to project or construction management in a corporate or industrial building environment.
