Overview

Join Burlington’s growing Human Resources team as a Inclusion & Diversity Manager! This person will manage the organization’s strategic diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives across each realm: Workforce, Workplace, Marketplace, and Community.

Responsibilities:

  • Execute and advance I&D strategy that drives a culture of inclusion, innovation and associate engagement through collaboration and programmatic efforts within talent acquisition, training, leadership development, associate relations, business facing HR colleagues and other internal and external stakeholders supporting key business needs, goals and objectives.

  • Manage portfolio of programs (recruitment, retention, development, education, associate engagement, etc.) to drive behavior change and embed I&D into the organization’s culture and overall brand purpose.

  • Collect and ensure quality, accurate and timely I&D data and reporting by measuring progress and identifying opportunities.

  • Actively collaborate with the Marketing and Communications team to strategically message and share the organization’s I&D mission, vision, strategy and successful initiatives, both internally and externally.

  • Identify external trends, data and best practices to influence and support organizational change related to I&D

  • Conduct company-wide demographic analysis and shares results with key stakeholders across the organization.

  • Manage I&D related content on internal and externally facing websites

  • Develop, coordinate, and support I&D related events

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • At least 3-5 years successful experience in an Inclusion & Diversity function, or related role (Learning and Development, Talent Management, etc.)

  • Prior knowledge of I&D concepts and experience influencing change in a large organization

  • Comfortable with public speaking, making presentations, and conducting training in front of diverse audiences, including via WebEx or other online platforms

  • Proven ability to effectively prioritize and manage multiple overlapping projects in a fast-paced, often changing environment.

  • Superior writing skills with the ability to create and edit PowerPoint presentations, business correspondence, etc.

  • Solid computer skills in MS Office applications, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint
