Burlington Merchant Process Analyst in Burlington, New Jersey

The MIO Merchandise Process Analyst is responsible for maximizing sales and profit through optimal order management, pack configuration, and effective use of technology and operational processes. They will be responsible for driving the product process initiative and to help reduce cost and time of processing goods. There will be frequent interaction with IT, EDI, Vendor Relations, Buyers, Allocation Managers, Directors of Planing, DC teams, and Vendors.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Responsible for merchandise process of upfront product
Maximize sales and profit through management of sizing and pack configuration
Reduce cost and time to process through right sizing pack configurations, and utilizing ship to mark for, and complex prepack options
Maximize sales and profit of seasonal product through timely process management
Collaborate with vendors, buyers, planners, supply chain to drive decisions on packing, ticketing and sizing for upfront buys
Document and promote best practices for buyers to utilize when negotiating up front buys with vendors
Liaison between Merchants and technical teams:
Facilitate communication between merchants and technical teams including but not limited to EDI, GAD, MAD, BI with goal to develop efficient, seamless solutions for Purchase Order management
Partner with Vendor Relations to problem solve issues with existing or onboarding vendors related to purchase order transmission through EDI
Identify opportunities to streamline Burlington order process and improve processing
Document and promote best practices for managing order exceptions
Develop and maintain effective working relationships with members of cross-functional teams.
Create a strong partnership with IT, Buying and Supply Chain.
Keep individual, division, and total company goals in mind when making decisions.
Demonstrate and utilize strong communication skills in interactions with Burlington Associates.

Our Candidate will have4 year College degree or equivalent work experience,2-3 years experience in merchandising, and experience with Merchandise systems is preferred.
