We are in search of an individual with 5 or more years managing and executing store projects such as rollouts, upgrades/refreshes, store closings, surplus properties, special projects, fire life safety projects, and disaster rebuilds.

The Facilities Project Manager, Capital Assets (FPMCA) will work closely with the Director, Capital Assets and Store Planning to identify projects, create schedules, prepare budgets and manage execution ensuring all work is performed as contracted and within budget parameters as well as the time parameters for closing/completing projects.

Responsibilities include:

  • Manage all projects with a strong sense of urgency, within budget guidelines

  • Assign bidders and manage bid process, with Procurement support when warranted

  • Review bids and choose successful bidder

  • Conduct kickoff meetings/calls with all stakeholders

  • Manage contractors/vendors throughout execution of project to ensure schedule and quality expectations are met

  • Communicate with Stores and Field Management (ROM’s/DM’s/RVP’s) before, during and after projects to ensure satisfaction

  • Propose and implement process improvements

  • Develop and manage project budgets, and execute projects to ensure budgets are met

  • Manage change order process within budget constraints

  • Provide weekly reports on budget vs. actual to Director, Capital Assets & Store Planning

  • Develop and maintain database of historical project costs for future budgets


  • Must possess basic technical understanding of trades involved with construction and maintenance including electrical, plumbing, flooring, general repairs. Fire/life safety and burglar/fire alarms is a plus

  • Must possess in-depth project management skills

  • Facilities software Service Channel work order system and Oracle financial program knowledge a plus

  • MS Office & Excel
