While you’ll be the newest member of the Talent Acquisition team you will be helping recruit and build a comprehensive talent sourcing strategy for one of Burlington’s most visible and high-impact areas. The Talent Acquisition Sourcer will support the in-house execution of external searches through the research, identification, recruitment, engagement and qualification of talent leads. He/she will create targeted sourcing strategies utilizing in-house tools, networks, social media, research methods, cold-calling, and talent mapping. Through competitive intelligence gathering, maintains on-going knowledge of retail and business function landscape. They will also engage directly with Hiring Managers, Talent Acquisition Leadership, Human Resources Business Partners and other key internal business stakeholders as they support the overall search process.

  • Partner with Manager of Executive & Merchandise Recruitment to understand the talent needs of the business and develop an effective search strategy to build candidate pipelines.

  • Responsible for the development of and execution of search techniques to generate a pool of quality candidates for open and/or projected positions

  • Build relationships with potential candidates while influencing them to see Burlington as the “Employer of Choice” by representing the “Our Burlington” brand and values at all times.

  • Qualify and screen candidates for basic skill set and competencies through phone screen.

  • Maintain a detailed, up-to-date portfolio of candidates – active and passive.

  • Identify qualified candidate profiles using various sourcing techniques (Boolean search, Chrome extensions, X-Ray, geographic targeting, etc.) an use direct methods to engage with that talent; including personal emails, cold calling, referrals and internal networks.

  • Participate in intake meetings with the hiring team to develop and refine the proper profile for targeting candidates.

  • Use available tools (iCIMS, LinkedIn Recruiter, Executive Search Software, etc.) to maintain accurate and well-ordered documentation on all candidates, searches, and other recruiting activities.

Candidates should have a bachelor’s degree or equivalent . 3+ years of impressive and impactful sourcing and research experience from an agency, RPO or other high volume recruitment environment. Demonstrated experience in sourcing to include internet, research and cold-calling. Must have “hunter” mindset. Experience with applicant tracking systems (e.g. iCIMS, Taleo, Kenexa, BrassRing). Highly organized with an eye for detail and accuracy; strong Microsoft Office skills ; excellent verbal and written communication skills ; must be highly motivated and driven with the ability to work independently ; willingness to learn and open for a challenge in a genuinely fast-paced environment .
