Come join the Burlington Stores team as a Web Marketing Strategy Manager! We are looking for an innovative, creative, collaborative and strategic web marketing strategist, with expertise and experience within the web/online space. Following the exit of e-commerce for Burlington in 2020, this role is responsible for managing Burlington’s consumer marketing content-based website and manages a team including a content analyst and front end designer. The position sits within the Marketing team and is responsible for owning, evolving and continually innovating the website with engaging content to inspire consumers to shop in store.
The candidate will possess strong organization and process development skills, will have solid expertise in web analytics and SEO to understand the performance of the site helping to further evolve the online customer journey. Role will need to be a strategic marketer, collaborator and innovator and will need to continuously evaluate and improve our content development process, integration processes within marketing – paid digital and social, creative team and cross functionally in IT, as the organization’s content evolves.We are seeking a web savvy digital innovator with strong collaborative and leadership management skills.
Develop and execute the web marketing strategy to meet its objective – to provide engaging content that inspires the customer to journey through the website and ultimately compel the user to drive to store. Strategy to be based on site performance - content successes and opportunities – as well as identifying innovative digital programs to execute that drive towards the sites’ overarching objective.
A solid collaborator able to work cooperatively within the various internal business teams and most notably, work closely within all facets of the marketing team, specifically the creative and marketing content planning teams, to bring the site to life and synch with content on all marketing channels.
Understands creative workflow processes towards developing engaging content, and is able to prioritize projects accordingly, as well as possesses strong communication skills able to articulate creative needs via a brief, ensuring accurate and clear information is provided in order to deliver desired creative assets/needs.
Successfully drives business results through positive, influential leadership, providing coaching in the moment to team members and understands as well as supports their professional development.
Strong presenter of discipline to educate audiences towards collaboration.
Responsible for working closely with the business IT team, should tech challenges arise and/or for their support/expertise on various web tools and programs.
Responsible for managing the web team budget.
Bachelor’s Degree in marketing and communications with a strong background in website development.
8-10 years of experience in brand or retail website strategy/content planning.
Experience in collaborating with Paid Social and Digital teams as well as with ITt to ensure customer journey and touchpoints to ultimately drive customers to store.
A proven site innovator with strong collaborative and leadership management skills.
Solid understanding and respect for web standards, new web management tools/plugins, and has their pulse on the websites of on par competitive brands/retailers.
Strategic mindset/strategic agility who can develop new ideas to make Burlington a leader in the industry.
Strong partnership and collaboration skills.
This individual understands the planning processes, juggles competing priorities, delivers impact with data-driven results while understanding how to measure and define success for the website..
Ability to influence and collaborate (up, down and cross-functionally).
Executive-level presentation/effective communicator.
Highly analytical/critical thinker with a rigor and discipline around website data, analytics and performance monitoring to help drive decision making insights into actions and recommendations.
