Burlington Inbound Logistics Manager- Pre-Receive - 2nd Shift in Edgewater Park, New Jersey

The Pre-Receive Manager- 2nd Shift reports to the Senior Director Inbound Logistics & POC. This position manages the Pre-Receive department. Works closely with DC Operations, Allocations, MIO, Merchandising, and Vendors to ensure that each day’s inbound schedule is ready to be received by the DC.Organize the teams into areas of responsibilities to most efficiently prepare the next day’s schedule for the DCs

  • Coordinates with the ASN Production team in validating and matching all arriving vendor ASNs to appropriate inbound shipments. Works closely with vendors and EDI to ensure timely arrival.

  • Oversees the creation of internal ASNs to be used instead of vendor ASNs. Guides the team on proper timing and strategy of internal ASN usage.

  • Oversees the matching of ASNs to appointments within WMS and coordinates the assignment of store distributions to those ASNs. Works closely with Planning and Allocations to ensure that flow through appointments have distributions and Pack and Hold merchandise is properly identified.

  • Coordinates receipt preparation activities for vendors or shipments involved in special buys, projects, or that lie outside the normal SOPs

  • Teams with internal partners to continually improve systems and processes to meet the changing needs of the business

  • Manage a team of Full Time + Temporary Associates based on volume demands

  • The hours will be 12:00PM - 8:30PM

Our ideal candidate will need to have a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience and 2 years of Distribution, Supply Chain.
