Burlington Outbound Transportation Administration Analyst in Edgewater Park, New Jersey

Overview

The Outbound Transportation Administration position will support the Senior Manager of Outbound Transportation, the Director of Outbound Transportation and the Supply Chain budget team to track all costs associated to Outbound Transportation. The position will have primary responsibility for the use of Syncada Freight Audit and Pay, accessorial review and payment; as well as exception management The position will keep track of and approve (with management input) all one off costs for both the pool points and line haul providers to ensure accurate accruals; as well as track what is actually invoiced on the backend. This person will be the project lead on implementation and eventual owner of a systematic based solution for pool point invoicing

  • Provide primary analytical and reporting support and as it relates to all costs associated to Outbound Transportation to ensure accurate tracking and accruals

  • Detailed knowledge and managementof Syncada Freight Audit and Pay System

  • Consistent audit and review of all outstanding charges captured in our Syncada Freight Audit and Pay System with timely resolve

  • Complete ownership of Syncada Freight Audit and Pay System

  • Dedicated administration functions as it relates to PCSTrac and line haul systematic requirements

  • Tracking all costs related to new store openings

  • Details GL review on incurred costs to drive improvement around spend and cost tracking processes

  • Validate legitimacy of standardized invoices

  • Assist where necessary in entry of standardized invoices

  • Complete ownership of entry of one off special invoices

  • Support the Senior Manager of Outbound Transportation with other duties and special projects as required.

  • Requires a strong financial analysis background
