Burlington Supervisor, Compliance and Accuracy in Edgewater Park, New Jersey

The Supervisor of Accuracy and Compliance will work in the distribution center (standing desk space) and oversee all aspects of the Accuracy and Compliance program. The supervisor is responsible for accurately tracking, analyzing, and reporting audit results in order to identify root causes of inventory issues and develop process improvement recommendations. The supervisor will work with the DC Inventory Control, DC Supply Chain, and 3rd party audit partners on SOP creation and execution, addressing and correcting errors found, and identifying trends. The position requires adherence to SOX controls. The position will oversee and direct the Accuracy and Compliance inspectors in a distribution environment. Candidates must provide a strong research skill set and excellent soft skills. Experience in a fast paced, dynamic environment leading teams is required. Ability to work with departments across multiple shifts in multiple buildings as needed.
Responsibilities:

  • Supervise errors uncovered during audit to identify root causes, monitor the status of all audits on a regular basis by the team to the appropriate level of management

  • Identify and report systemic and operational issues through verbal and/or written presentations for management to prevent and correct situations impacting accuracy

  • Continually review current processes and align accuracy audits as necessary driving improvements to internal processes, SOPs, and reports

  • Engage the appropriate level of management to assist with the escalation of items needing immediate attention

  • Support the implementation of Key Performance Indicators, Internal Controls and Record Retention partnering with cycle counting and remediation of deficiencies related to SOX (Sarbanes Oxley) controls

  • Responsible for managing employee resources through hiring, training, evaluation, coaching, developing, disciplining and termination.

Candidates must have experience working in a distribution environment and 2-3 years of managmenet experience. Minimum a Bachelor’s degree & 2-3 years of inventory control/compliance experience . Proficienct in Microsoft Excel, Knowledge of Retail WMS (Manhattan Open System preferred). Excellent Math and problem solving skills. Must be able to work in a changing and fast pace environment.
