Burlington Workday HRIS Analyst in Los Angeles, California

Overview

The Workday HRIS Analyst will primarily support the Workday Talent/Performance and Learning configurations while driving improvements to functionality supporting our Learning and Organizational Development teams. The Analyst will also provide additional support to our iCIMS Application Tracking System.

The Analyst will support key processes within the Workday Performance Management and Learning Management. This individual will help manage the integrity of data and security and work business team to develop and build reports and dashboards. Provide technical support, including configurations and testing. Leverages system analytics to drive informed business decisions.

Responsibilities :

  • Provide insight into functional operation of the application, advocating for system developments and improvements to continuously improve user experience

  • Serve as the Workday Learning and Talent/Performance Subject Matter Expert (SME); communicate with users, key stakeholders and leadership regarding system issues, enhancements, upgrades/releases, etc. as required

  • Research and identify opportunities to better leverage Workday to support our talent management vision

  • Research and identify opportunities to streamline and simplify existing processes and practices

  • Support the Workday performance management module by creating mid-year and year-end performance appraisals for various business units

  • Design and deploy all user training content

  • Drive continuous process improvement, simplifying existing processes

  • Advocate, initiate and manage system content

  • Manage Legal and regulatory compliance

  • Act as the key liaison in partnership with our Learning and Organizational Development teams and other internal partners

  • Develop and create system reports to support business needs and enhance Workday dashboards

  • Support Talent Systems security access and application issues through Service Now application

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree (B.A. or B.S.) from an accredited college or university, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Degree in Human Resources, Information Technology, or Business related field preferred.

  • At least two years’ experience as a HR systems analyst

  • Previous Workday experience preferred

  • Previous Performance Management, Learning Management or Recruiting experience preferred

  • Advanced Excel skills

  • The successful candidate must be analytical; detail oriented and understands/considers the downstream impact of configuration and business process changes.

  • The individual must have problem solving skills and be able to apply creative solutions to potential problems.

  • Project management skills

  • Must have excellent time management skills in meeting deadlines

  • Exercises considerable judgment and discretion in preparing and handling information of a sensitive nature

  • Must be resourceful and have a customer-focused attitude
