As Assistant Store Manager, Operations and Service you’ll be a leader of the store team who manages critical day-to-day store operations including Back of House/Receiving/MTA and Markdowns, as well as Point of Service/Front End operations and Human Resource Initiatives while serving as a role model for store associates. You will set the standard for providing excellent customer service and driving sales while coaching, training and developing your team. You’ll take charge of a variety of business operations to ensure the store is operating efficiently and successfully at all times in order to achieve maximum results.

Responsibilities:

  • Day-to-day management of the store including but not limited to staffing, hiring, and BEST scheduling, payroll compliance, coordination of recruitment activities, inventory management, oversight of facilities maintenance, management of customer service and cashier teams, ticketing and EAS tagging, layaway management, safekeeping of company funds and property including supervision of Cash Office and Auditor and overall implementation of company policies and procedures.

  • Direct supervision and management of Customer Service Supervisors

  • Manage all Back of House and Front End operations

  • Drive participation in Social Responsibility and Community Relations initiatives including front end solicitation and awareness campaigns.

  • Manage Human Resources Initiatives including but not limited to staffing, training, attendance, scheduling, availability, communication and break room message board compliance

  • Assist in management of all areas of store operations as needed

Candidates must have 2+ years of Retail Management experience in a Big Box or Specialty environment and be able to work a flexible schedule; including early morning, nights, weekends and holidays as required. Candidates must also be able to lift and move boxes weighing up to 40 lbs. and should be comfortable utilizing computerized scheduling and reporting software.
